- Story: Amedeo Viola is a born-again Christian who recently turned to MMA as a way to continue to turn his life around. Viola played football in college but also wrestled in High School for Fontana High. Fontana competed against Huntington Beach High School on a regular basis. Huntington Beach High featured none other than former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz on its wrestling team. While Huntington and Fontana competed against each other, Tito and Amedeo never had the opportunity to fight even though they had common opponents. The success that his former contemporary (Ortiz) has accomplished in MMA was another motivating factor for Viola to start fighting.
